The Fumes / Artist biography
Steve Merry is a genius on the resonator guitar. Having spent time in the States refining his craft he is equally deft on the electric as he covers a gamet of effects on both instruments, layering vocals, which are equally impressively reviewed. Steve has recently added piano/keys to his repertoire, adding more depth to bands sound. Joel Battersby has been touted as ‘simply the best drummer to beat his way onto the scene for some time’- Inpress Melbourne. Having just scored an intertnational endorsement with Zildjian Cymbals he is the clockwork mechanism behind The Fumes.
