Chris Kohn has worked for a variety of companies as a director, dramaturge, video artist and writer, and is a co-founder of Stuck Pigs Squealing Theatre (SPST). His shows with SPST have been nominated for 12 Australian theatre awards and received six, including two for Best Show in the Independent category.

Based in Melbourne, Stuck Pigs Squealing Theatre was established in 2000. A driving force in the emergence of Melbourne's dynamic and adventurous independent theatre scene, SPST has produced award-winning site-specific theatre and other works for festivals in Australia and North America.
