Jon Burtt is highly regarded as an innovative and accomplished director, choreographer and elite trainer. He is a founder, choreographer and director of Skadada and his critically acclaimed works have toured to India, China and Taiwan. Katie Lavers is co-founder, producer and visual director of Skadada. She has created works for major festivals in Australia and Asia, as well as large-scale events and opening ceremonies. Both Burtt and Lavers are directors of SYRC, Skadada’s highly successful elite aerial training program for young people.

Skadada’s performances combine world-class aerial work with stunning visuals, illusion, and diverse sound scores. The company has represented Australia in India and China, and has toured extensively nationally and internationally to public and critical acclaim. Skadada opened the 4th China Shanghai International Arts Festival and was the first international company to be invited to perform at Shanghai Circus World.
