Rosalind Crisp trained in ballet and contemporary dance in Melbourne, and release, Contact Improvisation and Body-mind centering at the European Dance Development Centre, The Netherlands. Rosalind is an important and influential Australian artist and in 1996 established the Omeo Dance Studio in Sydney.

Rosalind Crisp’s work as an artist sits between the 'writing' of movement and her practice of improvisation for performance. Crisp’s work has been presented in Japan, Korea, Belgium, Germany, Scotland, France, Switzerland, England and Taiwan. Based in Paris, Rosalind has been recently commissioned by both international and Australian companies. In 2004 Crisp was made a choreographic associate of the Atelier de Paris-Carolyn Carlson.
