Mortal Sin grew out of the western suburbs of Sydney in the mid 80's and continues today as a mighty extreme metal act.

Mortal Sin features original members Mat Maurer – Vocals, Andy Eftichiou – Bass, along with former Addictive Guitarist, Mick Sultana, and rounding off with Guitarist Nathan Shea and drummer Luke Cook.

In February 2005 Mortal Sin were inducted into the Hall Of Fame at the Metal for the Brain and Kerrang Australian Heavy Metal Awards. The band have toured extensively, nationally and internationally, with world renowned bands including Metallica, Megadeth, Faith No More, New York Thrash Kings Overkill, Anthrax, Testament and Slayer. The band has performed at festivals including the infamous Wacken Open Air Festival, Metal Mania Festivals in Czech Republic and Poland, and the Inferno Festival, Norway. Mortal Sin has released five albums and three videos including a limited DVD Out of the Darkness.
