Rachael Swain - director, choreographer, multimedia artist. Rachael is co-artistic director of Stalker and artistic director of Marrugeku. She has pioneered challenging new approaches to Australian Physical Theatre and intercultural performance drawing on experimental dance and multimedia practices and processes.

Marrugeku produces large-scale cross cultural works blending contemporary Indigenous dance with physical theatre, screen-based media and live music. Marrugeku develops its intercultural productions in situ in remote communities in order to process a vital, complex and raw portrait of contemporary Aboriginal and multicultural experiences in Australia.
