Four of Australia’s finest performing arts practitioners – Zoë Barry, Gaelle Mellis, Astrid Pill and Ingrid Voorendt – make up Ladykillers. Barry performs, composes and plays music, Mellis designs, Pill performs and writes, and Voorendt directs.

Ladykillers was formed in 2006 after nearly a decade of working together in various combinations on a range of projects, including productions for Restless Dance Company, Vitalstatistix, Patch Theatre Company and State Theatre Company of South Australia. Awards include: Innovation and Excellence by a South Australian Theatre Company (2006 Adelaide Fringe Awards); Special Commendation for Design Concept and Execution (2006 Adelaide Fringe Awards); 2006 IAF Innovation Award (Adelaide Critics' Circle); 2007 Greenroom nomination, Design; 2007 Greenroom nomination, Lighting Design.
