Kay Armstrong is a freelance dancer, movement director and theatre performer, a prolific and celebrated member of the independent dance sector in Australia.

Kay Armstrong graduated in dance from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 1988. Since 1989, she has worked professionally in theatre, film and television as an actor, dancer, choreographer and teacher. Her works have been staged across Australia and internationally.

Kay Armstrong is a well-established Sydney dance artist, actor and choreographer and the artistic director of a new youth dance company, Pulse8. She works as a movement director for many independent theatre productions. Kay brings theatrical verve to her dance work, from her experience within the theatre, film and television industries.
