Tom Gilling, the award-winning novelist and biographer, has written three novels and one book of non-fiction, as well as writing for newspapers and magazines.

Tom Gilling was born in England in 1961 and emigrated to Australia in 1983. His fist novel, The Sooterkin, has been published in the UK, USA and the Netherlands. Miles McGinty has been published in the USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Spain. Gilling co-authored The Bagman: Final Confessions of Jack Herbert, the posthumous memoir of the corrupt Queensland policeman. His latest novel, the identity thriller Dreamland, was released in June 2008 and will be published in the USA and UK.
