Fiona Capp / Author biography
Fiona Capp trained as a journalist, has a PhD in English and has worked as a freelance writer and university tutor in English, journalism and novel writing at the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and RMIT. She has also worked as a supervisor for post-graduate students in Creative Writing at RMIT.

Fiona Capp’s work includes Night Surfing, Last of the Sane Days, and, That Oceanic Feeling, which explores the lure of the sea and her love affair with surfing. Night Surfing was shortlisted for Australia's Kibble Award for Women Writers. Last of the Sane Days was shortlisted for The Age Book of Year Award and nominated for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. That Oceanic Feeling won the Kibble Award for Women Writers and the Australians Travelling Abroad Travel Writing Prize. Her latest novel is Musk & Byrne.
