deBASE productions is made up of an artistic ensemble of three: Bridget Boyle, Robert Kronk and Liz Skitch. Together, they employ a highly physical and collaborative approach to devising new work, which is strongly influenced by the teaching of Philippe Gaulier. His philosophy: that successful performance begins with a sense of play or le jeu, informs the creation of every deBASE production.

deBASE has a ten year history of producing brilliant, new comic productions. The Clown from Snowy River has toured to high schools all over Queensland with the Queensland Arts Council and in 2008 was published by Playlab Press. Act 3 International presented Lily Can’t Sleep, commissioned by Queensland Theatre Company and The Out Of The Box Festival for 3-8 year Olds, in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia in 2007. Their work has also toured to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Melbourne Fringe Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Woodford Folk Festival.
