Dappled Cities are a Sydney based rock/pop band who have recently completed recording their third full length album with US producer Chris Coady, and filming a 26 part television series for the Disney Channel.

Dappled Cities two main songwriters are David Rennick and Tim Derricourt, old school friends who formed the band at the tender age of 15. David is a talented musician, designer and web developer and also creator of The Curse of Company. Tim also writes pieces for film and theatre and is currently working on his debut solo album.

Dappled Cities, formed almost a decade ago at school, are now regarded as one of Australia’s most progressive artists. The band have toured the world including three appearances at the prestigious SXSW festival in the US. Other tours and events include the Big Day Out (& other Australian and US festivals), lCD Soundsystem, Modest Mouse, Silverchair and Fratellis. They were shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize (2007) and recently awarded ‘Best Live Artist’ at the Sydney Music Arts & Culture Awards (SMAC)
