Aphids / Artistic director biography
David Young is preoccupied with exploring the relationship between sound and image and is increasingly in demand as a composer of chamber music. Young's recent commissions include new works for the Delft Festival in The Netherlands in 2007, and a new work for the Dutch Ives Ensemble, which premiered at the International Society for Contemporary Music World New Music Days in Stuttgart, July 2006.
