An Horse is Kate Cooper & Damon Cox. Initially started for fun whilst on downtime from their other bands, the duo has quickly gained a massive following In Australia, and more so in the US, after tours with Tegan & Sara, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Bishop Allen and others.

Kate & Damon have both played in established Australian bands, (Iron On, Intercooler & Mary Trembles), but it wasn’t until the pair started writing and playing together that something truly special started to take shape.
It’s honest music. Heartfelt and sincere, powerful and catchy. It’s an effortless collaboration with results that are exciting and intense.

Invited to open for Tegan & Sara on their 2008 Out Of Hibernation US tour after recording an EP and passing it on to the Canadian twins. Shortly after they were invited to open for Death Cab For Cutie and were signed to new US indie label Mom & Pop. Helmed by Michael Goldstone (who’s signing credits include Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Against Me!, Regina Spektor and more)
