Artist and curator Aaron Seeto’s practice is primarily installation based with a foundation in photography. His research revolves around the operation and collection of archives.

Aaron Seeto has exhibited in contemporary art spaces in Australia, New York and Europe including Lokaal01 (Breda, NL, 2007); Gallery Korea (NYC, 2006); Centre for Contemporary Photography (Melbourne, 2005); Robert MacDougall Art Gallery (2005, as part of the Scape Biennial, Christchurch, NZ); Gallery 4A (2001); and Casula Powerhouse Art Centre (2001).

Seeto is the Director of the Asia-Australia Arts Centre/Gallery 4A, Sydney. Curating is a key element of his practice. Recent curatorial projects include News from Islands an Asia-Pacific survey at the Campbelltown Arts Centre (2007); Otherworldsothernews, Starkwhite, Auckland NZ (2007) and Primavera at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2006). Since 2006 he has collaborated with the Belgian artist/architect Lieven de Boeck. In 2007 they collaborated on a project at Lokaal01, Breda (NL, 2007) and published part of their ongoing interview project with Onomatopee (Eindhoven).
